EO-SID Procedure Design | Grupo Binter

The Challenge

The airline required EO-SID (Engine-Out Standard Instrument Departure) procedures at the airports where it operates — flight procedures designed to allow safe departure in the event of an engine failure during takeoff.

Our Solution

We analysed the operational environment, defined the engine-out flight profile for each climb phase, designed the procedure, and developed the corresponding aeronautical chart.

Benefits

Significant improvement in operational safety during critical engine-failure scenarios, reduction in weight penalties through EO-SID optimisation, and full regulatory compliance.
