The goal was to establish the necessary airspace conditions for the operation of Small, MALE, or HAPS UAS at Canarias Stratoport, located near Fuerteventura Airport.

Our Solution

We defined two airspace volumes — one surrounding the Stratoport and another serving as the flight and climb/descent area for HAPS — both compatible with conventional aviation visual and instrument flight procedures. We also developed a network of corridors connecting both volumes, enabling various mission types.
